Help & support

Need a hand?

Reset your password or request a sign-in link. Use your current verified email while an email change is waiting for confirmation. Check spam or junk folders if an email has not arrived.

For account-access help, email support@patronnow.app. Briefly describe the problem and the email you use to sign in. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or payment card details. Account access is checked before any account changes.

Requests are private to you and the PatronNow operator, including when you have no organisation or your organisation is closed. Replies happen in PatronNow.

Getting your first sponsor

Create an organisation to manage sponsorship, or open the invitation email from its Admin to join an existing team. Then create an opportunity that describes what you offer sponsors. Prepare it privately, then publish the opportunities you want people to see. Publishing an opportunity also publishes your organisation profile, so sponsors can find you on your public page and send an enquiry. You can request an optional trust review; it is not required to publish or arrange sponsorship.

Use Enquiries to follow up interest and Sponsors to keep your contacts. When you agree what to provide, record the sponsorship and review its terms before accepting them. Accepted terms are kept with the sponsorship.

How a sponsor pays you

Invoices show what is due and what has been received. Where online payments are enabled, sponsors can pay from their invoice link. They can also pay offline using the organisation’s payment details; an Admin records the payment once it has been received.

Starting an online payment does not mean it has arrived. Pending payments do not reduce the amount outstanding. Check the invoice’s received payments before recording an offline receipt, so the same payment is not counted twice. An Admin can review payment setup in Settings.

What PatronNow costs

Recording sponsorships, invoices and offline payments is free. When a sponsor pays an invoice online, PatronNow takes 4% of that payment, capped at £250 per payment. A PatronNow plan at £20 a month or £200 a year makes that 0%; an Admin can choose one in Billing. Card and Pay by Bank processing is charged at Stripe's cost, with no PatronNow mark-up. PatronNow does not charge VAT.

Benefits and dates

Benefits to deliver helps you follow through on what was agreed. Open a sponsorship to review each benefit, add its delivery details and record when it is done. Suggested dates depend on the sponsorship’s start date and the timing agreed for that benefit. If no date is shown, agree a suitable date with the sponsor. If a benefit covers several deliveries, use its details to keep track of the full commitment.

Team access

An Admin can invite people and change their role in Team & access. Admins manage the workspace, money and settings. Staff can read the workspace and record enquiry follow-ups; they cannot change money, users or settings. Keep at least one Admin. Adding a sponsor contact does not invite them to your team.

Account security

Use Personal details to change your name or verify a new sign-in email. Security has password and authenticator settings. Devices & sessions lets you sign out devices you no longer use. Changing your email or password signs out your devices. If you cannot sign in, get account-access help.

Closing an organisation

An Admin can close an organisation from Settings. Its public page and opportunities stop being public, invitations are withdrawn and its subscription is cancelled. Existing invoice and report links still work for sponsors. An Admin can reopen the workspace within 30 days; nothing is republished automatically. After that, workspace content is deleted, while sponsorships, invoices, receipts and billing records are retained.

Support requests belong to your account. Closing an organisation does not share or erase your conversations. To request account deletion, open a support request; this starts a review, not automatic deletion.
